Newborn | Full Session
Session is held in Studio. The session will be posed images and include family shots if desired.

This session is up to 60 minutes and gives you the option to chose between a family lifestyle session or baby only posed session.
Lifestyle Family | This session includes immediate family members and focuses on natural, family-centered posing in my natural light studio.
Baby-only posed | This session still gives you those beautiful posed photos (buckets/baskets/etc) but does not include parents. Baby typically remains wrapped through session.
Sessions are held weekdays.

Milestone Session
Milestone sessions are for babies up to 5 years old. Session includes digital images with option to upgrade once gallery is delivered. These are baby focused and include timeless setups. I keep setups very simple so that we can capture baby and all of their adorableness.
Client Closet is included.

Cake Smash add on $75
This fee covers clean up and additional time required. You are responsible for providing neutral cake.
Fresh 48
Fresh 48 sessions are typically held in the hospital or babies birth place within 48 hours of their birth. We will focus on all those little details that fade so quickly. Sessions last up to 45 minutes and take place between 9am-3pm to ensure adequate lighting. Sessions include 20 digital images.

Baby’s 1st Year
(Newborn, 6 mo, 12mo)
This package focuses on baby's first year of life! The package includes a Newborn session, 6 month milestone session and 12 month milestone session. The newborn session includes 30 digital images with option to upgrade. The milestone sessions each include 10 digital images with option to upgrade. By scheduling the First Year package, you are recieving a discount on each session scheduled.

One of the hardest parts of family pictures is figuring out what everyone is going to wear. A huge perk of booking with me is that I offer a massive Client Closet and styling assistance!
These are items for Women, Kids and Men that I’ve purchased and I allow my clients to wear for their sessions at no extra cost. If you schedule a full session, you also get a complimentary try- on appointment. It’s a huge benefit that you can be styled amazingly AND not have to throw a ton of money into buying clothes for everyone that they’ll never wear again.

All of my Clients have access to this perk! Not all sessions include try-on appointments due to time constraints but everyone is able to utilize it. Styling assistance is also included with all sessions.

For all of my outdoor sessions, I shoot during Golden Hour to give us the best, glowy, yummy light. Golden Hour is 60-90 minutes before sunset. This means that my start times for sessions vary throughout the year. In summer, that amazing light happens much later than in Spring or Fall.
I do not compromise on quality to work around nap schedules.
I would highly recommend rearranging schedules, nap times, etc to fit your session into this window. It makes a huge difference in the overall look of your images.

I would recommend scheduling your newborn photos for when you are between 28-34 weeks along. I recommend reaching out to any photographer at least 6-10 weeks before your ideal session date. If you are wanting photos during Fall, then I’d HIGHLY recommend scheduling 2-3 months in advance. Fall is to Photographers as April is to Accountants.
Newborn sessions are scheduled ideally between 1-3 weeks after baby is born. The sooner the better usually. I do limit the number of newborns I schedule each month to make sure if you deliver early/late that I have room in my schedule to accommodate that. That being said, I would recommend getting on the calendar 6-10 weeks before you are due. Baby booms are no joke and sometimes we fill up.

I start with a ‘Christmas card’ photo and if it naturally happens that there is a pose that would be nice with everyone looking, I’ll do that too! However, I do not recommend you book with me if you’re wanting a posed photos.

Absolutely! You can break up your balance into installments to help with budgeting. My system automatically allows for installments to be paid. If you need a little extra time, just let me know.

In short- yes. However, I do require styling. This means we’ll work together to come up with elevated options outsid of your normal every day outfits. Professional photos don’t happen often and you're investing a lot to make them happen. Why not make them as good as possible?
Does your husband have something in his closet already that might match what we come up with? Great! Send me a pic! I’m also not opposed to sending some links for items you can purchase yourself. Just don’t waste your money until we’ve chatted first.

A HUGE PERK that I offer is my Client Closet! Let’s be real- picking out outfits is the hardest part of photos. I offer styling help and access to any of the hundreds of pieces in my closet for no additional cost! You won’t have to buy the family outfits they won’t ever wear again. It’s seriously amazing.
We’ll work together to come up with options for your family that makes sense, make you feel amazing and that will photograph beautifully together.

Whether you’re coming to me for your first ever family photos or have photos taken elsewhere religiously, I want your experience with me to be enjoyable for all parties involved.
All of the photos on my website reflect the style of shooting that I prefer and am experienced at. They also reflect the importance of styling for your session. Styling is a VERY important part of getting your session to match the work that you’ve seen from me. This is why I invest in a curated collection of pieces for Women, Children and Men. It makes the typically most difficult part of family photos, so seamless.
And when you show up for your session, wearing flattering, perfectly coordinated outfits, understand that I don’t want you to stare and me and fake smile but instead to do fun things with your kids, get awkward, love on each other and forget that I’m even there. It’s literally the best.
We know kids can be unpredictable and that’s okay. Sessions sometimes start after their usual bedtime but you know, what?! It always works out! Kids thrive outdoors. Especially when we’re having them play games, run around and snuggle with their favorite people, I promise it’s not going to be the issue, you imagine it’s going to be.
I’ve said this over and over, these once a year family photos should be treated as a special event- because they are. You don’t do this often- so let’s treat it that way! Step outside your comfort zone and try the dress that’s going to make you feel beautiful and be flattering (because that’s why I chose it!) Let the kids stay up a little late, let them jump off the rock or dip their toes in the water. We are creating memories just as much as we are documenting them and each phase of life should be documented. Are the kids crazy 2 and 3 year olds? We’re going to want to remember that, just like all of the other phases that are about to happen. You’ll look back and have a story to tell and that’s what’s important.
The Studio
Welcome to the Studio!
I absolutely love my studio space! It’s located on Main Street, Cedar Falls which allows for you to grab a coffee during your session or just sit and relax in the space.
It’s light and bright. It offers a simple ‘bedroom’ set up with natural wood tones and textures. I have my vintage wooden cradle and high chair for baby sessions and some beautiful tall ceilings and windows. There is also a solid white wall that I LOVE for a totally different vibe. This side is perfect for families, babies and boudoir sessions!
It may not be large but it gives me the versatility that I crave and that’s all that matters!

I’m a Mom with three kids of my own who loves carbs, sunshine and Netflix.
I started photography as a hobby in January of 2020 when I conveniently lost my job during Covid. Now, 6 years in- I can’t imagine doing anything else. This is passion and I LOVE when my clients can feel that in their sessions.
My style is very candid and colorful. I love contrast, neutrals, and moments that make your heart skip a beat.
I want you to look at your gallery and FEEL. I want you to be thrilled that I caught an expression that your child makes all the time. I want you to see real smiles and laughs that come with interacting, playing, tickling and just letting those kids have fun.
I promise, kids don’t think it’s fun to stand there and look at a stranger with a camera yelling Cheese at them. Promise.
Instead, let’s dance and have fun exploring and just allow me to capture the beauty organically. There is so much raw beauty in the everyday and I want to capture that for you. I’ll guide you the whole way!
